Shipping Policy
Good Stuff Imports Pty Ltd, Trading as The Barbecue Company ("we" and "us") is the operator of
(https://thebarbecueco.com.au) ("Website"). By placing an order through this Website you will be agreeing to the terms below. These are provided to ensure both parties are aware of and agree upon this arrangement to mutually protect and set expectations on our service.
1. General
Subject to stock availability. We try to maintain accurate stock counts on our website but from time-to-time there may be a stock discrepancy and we will not be able to fulfill all your items at time of purchase. In this instance, we will fulfill the available products to you, and contact you about whether you would prefer to await restocking of the backordered item or if you would prefer for us to process a refund.
2. Shipping Costs
Shipping costs are calculated during checkout based on weight, dimensions and destination of the items in the order. Payment for shipping will be collected with the purchase.
Shipping rates start from $10.95 for orders up to 3kg (excludes bulky and heavy items). Orders containing items such as Wood Pellets, Charcoal, Cast Iron Cookware or other large, bulky or heavy items are shown as live rates from our preferred carriers. We use Standard Surface Shipping Services only, Express Shipping is not available.
In the event the shipping rate is incorrectly quoted, we reserve the right to correct the rate. If the shipping charge paid exceeds our cost, the difference will be refunded prior to shipping with a notification sent via email. In the event the actual charge paid is significantly less than our cost, we will contact you via email with the option to pay the difference, or cancel the order for a full refund.
3. Delivery Times
Orders placed before 12pm Monday to Friday (AEST/AEDT) will be dispatched the same day, otherwise, the next business day. Our warehouse operates on Monday - Friday during standard business hours, except on public holidays at which time the warehouse will be closed. In these instances, we take steps to ensure shipment delays will be kept to a minimum. In general most orders are received within 1-3 business days (5-7 business days for WA, NT, TAS & Remote areas).
For Warehouse Pick up, Orders placed after 12pm on weekdays will be ready the following day, all other times prior to this, and after 8am the order should be ready within 2-4hrs.
Orders placed after 12pm on a Friday will be available for collection from 8am Monday.
Saturday order collection by prior arrangement only (Please contact us by email).
Warehouse Pickup hours are 8am to 2pm Monday to Thursday, 8am to 12pm Friday (Closed on Public Holidays).
An email notification will be sent when a pick up order is ready for collection.
Pick up orders not collected within 10 Business Days will be Cancelled and Fully Refunded.
4. P.O. Box Shipping
The Barbecue Company will ship to P.O. box addresses using postal services only. We are unable to offer couriers services to these locations.
5. Tracking Notifications
Upon dispatch, customers will receive a tracking link from which they will be able to follow the progress of their shipment based on the latest updates made available by the shipping provider. All orders are sent with tracking details.
6. Process for parcel damaged in-transit
We will process a refund or replacement as soon as the courier has completed their investigation into the claim.

8. Pre-Orders
Please refer to the actual product page on this website for accurate information regarding expected arrival dates and other relevant information. From time to time changes in arrival dates may occur. Purchases on third party websites may not show full Pre-Order information, in this instance we will make contact within 24hrs.
