Smithey Ironware No. 10 Cast Iron Chef Skillet (25cm)

The Smithey Ironware No. 10 Cast Iron Chef Skillet is our most versatile skillet to date.

Featuring curved interior walls to promote movement and ease of serving, the No. 10 chef skillet has a larger surface than our popular No. 8, encouraging you to cook bigger omelets, sauté more veggies, or sear an extra steak.

Like all Smithey Skillets, the interior features our signature polished finish that when seasoned is naturally non-stick and easy to clean.

Use it well.

Features holes on both sides for hanging.

Excellent pan

Gorgeous pan and wonderful craftsmanship. Love the smooth finish inside, this will make it easier to keep it clean. Made my fist steak on it and it was beautifully seared on the outside. There is nothing that beats cast iron for a perfect steak. Only shame is that gorgeous copper patina on the outside disappeared after first use. Not quite sure what they put on pan to give it that colour but it didn't last long. I was worried about size being small but found the 10 more than generous in size for cooking. I would consider also purchasing next size down for single portions. Also found the weight was lighter than expected for cast iron. It was comfortable enough to hold with one hand.

The Smithey 10 has become my new favourite pan. Finish is much smoother than my lodge pans and useful in other ways as a result.
Love it
