Smithey Ironware Carbon Steel Farmhouse Skillet (30cm)

Each piece is visually unique while sharing core design features such as a handle inspired by traditional fire tools and the signature Smithey 3-holed helper handle.

A beautiful piece with performance to match. I use this all the time and the seasoning is improving with every use. This is a piece that will last a lifetime or three.
After much research for a CS pan at all price points, I chose this for its thickness, shape and size and the fact its a beautiful looking pan, was a bonus. Maintaining and improving the seasoning is easy, and the functionality is great, I use Stainless and Cast Iron but this will replace them most of the time. It is a diverse and functioning art piece! About a month in, and loving it.
I can’t remember how I came across the Smithy brand but was stoked to find The Barbecue Co to be an Australian stockist. I was looking for a healthier Teflon alternative and we have not been disappointed, having put it to the test with eggs and fish. The skillet is a real thing of beauty with each one being handmade makes it a unique investment piece that I know will last a lifetime and then some. Looking forward to adding more Smithy pieces to my kitchen.
My brother returned to Australia from living in the US due to covid. He purchased a “smithy” cast iron pan as a wedding present for my bribe and me. Awesome. Now I want the skillet he has. Great product - without peer down here.
